Promoting New Jersey as an Innovation Economy

Hudson County Chamber of Commerce – February 2020
Paul Hoffman, President and CEO of Liberty Science Center and SciTech Scity served as one of the keynote speakers at the annual business meeting of the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce on February 7, 2020 at the New Jersey City University Gilligan Student Center. Nearly 200 chamber members joined the conference, titled "Hudson County 2020: The State of Innovation", which focused on the innovation economy in Hudson County, New Jersey. Featured speakers included Paul Hoffman, President and CEO of Liberty Science Center and SciTech Scity and Tim Sullivan, CEO of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, who shared their views on how New Jersey is making efforts to recapture its position as the number one state in the nation for innovation. Mr. Hoffman presented SciTech Scity as a driving force for spurring economic growth and the growth and networking of new businesses in New Jersey through Edge Works, a 100,000 + square foot business incubator and co-creation center.
