WHERE THE FUTURE
SciTech Scity is a curated community ("mini-city") of
tech entrepreneurs, scientists, students, and other forward thinking people and organizations working together to create a better future for all.
LEARN. WORK. LIVE. PLAY.
Edge Works is the economic and creative hub for SciTech Scity, offering a variety of scalable workspaces, an advanced 3D-printing lab, a bleeding-edge tech gallery, custom R&D labs, meeting spaces, and a state-of-the-art conference center.
Scholars Village is residential housing (approximately 400 rental units) for families, innovators, scientists, students, and entrepreneurs who want to join SciTech Scity’s curated community of the future.
SciTech Scity is already home to the Liberty Science Center, the largest interactive science center in the NY/NJ metro area and home to the biggest and best planetarium and digital theater in the Western Hemisphere.
Liberty Science Center High School will be a public school providing world-class STEM learning for 400 9-12 students. A robust set of skill-based classes will also be offered at Edge Works and the LSC for learners of all ages.
"Scity" (pronounced "city") is our portmanteau for a city infused with science and scientific creativity. SciTech Scity is a collaboration between the City of Jersey City and Liberty Science Center, New Jersey's most visited cultural institution, to bolster local education and economic growth in key STEM sectors. Located just five miles from Lower Manhattan and nine miles from Newark Liberty International Airport, Scitech Scity is in Liberty State Park, near the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty.
